–Behold, the Lamb of God!
What a wonderful thing here comes to the mind –
That a lamb has come, both humble and meek
Not waving great swords or with strength of a rod
But to lift heavy hearts, and to strengthen the weak
To awake in our hearts that Spirit Divine
Not to build earthly armies or buildings of stone –
But a Son left a palace, and His Father so dear,
That all souls in the world might find their way Home
And the Son of God has come to the world –
Oh, maidens, rejoice; Oh, men raise a shout!
For healing and strength has come for mankind;
The True Light has come – and dark must go out!
And the dragons are felled by the blood of the Lamb
For the Heart of the world is better, and wise;
He wins by His Heart what the sword could not take
And The Son first came down, that with us He might rise
The dragons all fought for their silver and pride
But behold this great marvel – each girl and each boy;
That our God is love, and goes on to the end –
And that makes the heart shine with love and with joy,
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof
But the Lamb gave His life for a thing more than gold;
For this precious reason, to save you and me,
In the world’s greatest story that ever was told –
That God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son; that who
So ever believeth in Him, should not
Perish, but have everlasting Life.

Just a little flower, turning her face to find the sun. I don’t always feel his rays on me, but when I do, the warmth and the feeling is simply wonderful, and I never want to be in the shadows again. Isn’t he lovely?
